The assignment developed from a single illustration to a whole new fantasy universe, depicted by the series of books that the author was about to finish writing.

The scope of work included concept art and final art for keyframe scenes, environment and characters. Therefore I helped the author visualize the universe he had imagined..

The lore was very elaborated and the characters’ personality was extremely defined, but not the way they looked, so the design process was more based on defining behaviour rather than sticking to specific looks
